Mining / Geochemical Exploration

Handheld XRF Mining & Ore Analyzer

For geochemical exploration, mine grade control and processing, the Scensor handheld XRF measures element content in ore, core, soil and tailings on site in seconds — accelerating discovery and production decisions.

Why use XRF for ore analysis

Bring the lab to the field, shorten decision cycles

Traditional lab assays can take days and miss the best exploration and production window. Handheld XRF gives geologists immediate element data at the drill hole, trench or stockpile — quickly identifying geochemical anomalies, delineating mineralized zones and guiding grade control and processing in real time.

  • On-site results in seconds, faster targeting
  • Covers metal ores, polymetallic and critical-metal exploration
  • Handles rock, core, soil and powder samples
  • GPS tagging and data export for geochemical mapping

FAQ

Mining & Ore FAQ

Which elements can it measure?

From Mg to U, covering common ore-forming and associated elements, suitable for metal ores, polymetallic ores and screening of some rare-earth and critical-metal pathfinder elements.

Is sample preparation needed in the field?

Rapid screening can spot-test rock, core, soil or powder directly; for higher accuracy, drying, grinding and pressed pellets are recommended.

Is it suitable for grade control?

Yes. Immediate on-site data helps identify anomalies, delineate mineralized zones, perform grade control and optimize processing, shortening decision cycles.
